MARLO & ISAURE is a brand producing contemporary decor and furnishing, founded by Swiss-greek Marlo Kara and the Franco-Tunisian Isaure Bouyssonie.
The two met during their class of Industrial Design at ECAL (Ecole Cantonale d’Art de Lausanne) and decided to work together and settle in Tunisia, where production takes place: many projects have been designed by the two, others are born from the collaboration with many designers.
My favourites are those glazed ceramic decorations, which are called Argos, in honor of the greek myth of the “all-seeing” giant.
And I’m totally in love with the desk accessories: the Antique card holder, the Barge organiser (designed by Samy Rio) and the Wagon photos holder, all connected by the use of white Carrara marble and green Guatemala marble.
