Anna Gitelson–Kahn is an independent knitwear designer, who studied in the United States and then returned to her country and now teaches at the Shenkar College of Engineering and Design (Israel).
I discovered her blankets for adults and children by chance, and I instantly fell in love: she uses bright colors and geometry, for a breathtaking collection, certainly fashionable, but which I’m sure is going to have a lot of success in the medium / long term.
ANNA blankets are produced by knit machine with high-quality merino wool, all patterns are first tested in the studio and the production is followed then step by step.
The whole project is summed up in the claim:
Minimalism and simplicity from precision
ANNA products were shown in spring at the Periscope Gallery in Tel Aviv, with a sensational exhibition (could you imagine blankets as amazing art pieces? Now you do!), and at the last Maison & Objet in Paris.
