In Ventura-Lambrate this year there was a space called Ensembles, hosting Multilateral, a temporary collective formed by Floor Nijdeken, Mark Sturkenboom and Visser&Meijwaard, who presented their works in a surprising combination, reinterpreting them, and letting the visitors interact.
Floor Nijdeken
With his Crossover Collective Floor Nijdeken tries to connect people thanks to an old communication form and social activity: collective embroidery.
Mark Sturkenboom
His focus lies not on the appearance of things, but on what Mark Sturkenboom calls: “The deeper layers in the relation between an object and its owner.” In the picture, 21 grams, a memory box built to keep the momories of a lost beloved one.
Visser en Meijwaard
Visser en Meijwaard is the brand by Steven Visser and Vera Meijwaard: in Milan they introduced Truecolors, a Milano hanno presentato la linea Truecolors, objects made in wood and PVC.
